TACLOBAN CITY – Grab Taxi will do Beta testing in Tacloban City this coming April. According to the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Regional Director Renwick Rotaquio, Grab plans to start their beta testing on the first week of April where there will be more or less 100 taxies that will be available for passengers.
Rotaquio emphasizes that it is only a Beta testing wherein Grab will test if they can acquire profit in the City. Also, they have to secure first an approval from the Central Office of LTFRB to make their service fully-implemented.
Grab will still have to evaluate the result of the Beta Testing whether they will make their service fully-implemented or not.
Grab’s officers are expected to visit the City this week to ask for the help of media to let the people know that they will be offering their service in Tacloban City.
