2015 has set a Record-breaking year in movie history, with a lot of sequels, origin stories and event pictures. But, it looks like we have a lot more movies to watch in 2017. Fifty Shades Darker
An upcoming erotic romantic drama film directed by James Foley and written by Niall Leonard, based on a novel of the same name by British author E. L. James. It is the second film in the Fifty Shades film series and a sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey where Anastasia “Ana” Steele (Dakota Johnson) tries to move on from her relationship with Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan). Christian convinces her to resume their romance under Ana’s conditions. As they begin their normal relationship, Mr. Grey’s past threatens to tear them apart.
It is set to be released on February 10, 2017.
Justice League
An upcoming Superhero film based on the DC Comics superhero team of Justice League, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It will be the fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe. Directed by Zack Synder, screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa and Ray Fisher. In justice league, Batman and Wonder Woman assembles a team consisting of The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg to face the disastrous threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.
It is scheduled to be released on November 17, 2017.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
This film is also known as Pirates of the Caribbean: The revenge of Salazar and Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge). It is an upcoming American fantasy swashbuckler film and the fifth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. It is directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg, script by Jeff Nathanson with Jerry Bruckheimer as producer. The story sees Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) on a quest to find Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that grants its possessor total control over the seas, in order to defeat his old nemesis, Captain Salazar.
It is scheduled to be released on May 26, 2017.
Power Rangers
Power Rangers (billed as Saban’s Power Rangers) is an upcoming American Science Fiction superhero drama film directed by Dean Israelite and written by John Gatins, Kieran Mulroney, Michelle Mulroney, Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. The films feature most of the main characters of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers but portrayed by a new cast. The story is about five troubled teenage student outcasts: Zack, Kimberly, Billy, Trini, and Jason. They become the Power rangers after learning that their small town of Angel Grove and the world are threatened by an alien force led by Rita Repulsa.
It is set to be released in the United States on March 24, 2017.
Spider-Man: Homecoming
It is an upcoming American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, produced by Marvel Studios and directed by Jon Watts. It is the second reboot of the Spider-Man film franchise and the sixteenth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Peter Parker tries to balance his life as an ordinary high school student in Queens, New York City with fighting crime as his superhero alter ego Spider-Man.
It is scheduled to be released on July 7, 2017, in the United States.
