Tacloban City Mayor Cristina Romualdez Strengthens Drainage Projects

Tacloban City — The City Government of Tacloban has taken the essential steps to reduce the flooding problems in the city. Part of this is the strengthening of the city’s drainage projects.

Apart from the projects that line the city hall complex, inter-barangay roads, paved walkways toward the bus terminal, drainage improvements and constructions have been created.

In addition, the construction of waterways along the V&G Subdivision towards Robinsons Place is already in motion. There are also various repairs and improvements being made in all main roads of the city.

At the same time, other canals were being erected along the Mangonbangon creek, Tanghas near Imelda Village, Mahayhay and at Villa Dolina.

In the first year in office of Mayor Cristina G. Romualdez, she already accomplished several projects for the city.

Building up the drainage systems in Tacloban City remains to be one of her main concerns.
