Filipino-American artist Noel Cruz’s realistic repainting of mass produced dolls

Noel Cruz, a Filipino-American artist repaints mass produced dolls. He saw the dolls as a canvas when his wife started collecting dolls. He takes the mass produced dolls, wash off the original paint, apply his own intricacies, and turns them into his one of a kind master piece! Each doll would take 40 hours in total. His dolls are so life like, his work is highly regarded among collectors and artists alike.Noel attempts to raise the bar and bring a fresh take to the common mass produced doll with every face he paints.

What defines Noel’s style of repaint is his focus in achieving a sense of both aesthetics and likeness. He has developed this style across hundreds of dolls all ranging from unique & exotic originals to some of the most recognized celebrity faces in history. All his dolls now belong to the personal collections of their proud owners.

Noel repaints dolls in the image of Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Elizabeth Taylor, Lindsay Wagner, Audrey Hepbrun, Harry Potter, and more. Below are some of his work:
